1. Click Start, click run, or somewhere where it allows you to search for Program files. 2. Type in "Regedit" (without quotation marks) and click "Search" or hit the "Enter" Button on your keyboard. 3. *If NO message popped up, skip this step!* If a message pops up asking you about security, or something of that nature, click YES 4. A menu will appear, with several different drop-downs and icons pre-named "Hkey" Double click the folder that says "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" 5. Another drop down menu will appear with several more folders. Click the one that says "Software" 6. Now you will be taken to yet another drop down with many different folder names. Click the one that says, "Classes". IGNORE THE FOLLOWING IF YOU HAVE FOUND THE FOLDER ***(You might have to scroll down a bit, although it is in alphabetical order and near the top. You may also single click a random folder, and type in "CL" and it should jump down to "Classes" another useful tool*** 7. Now a BIG confusing list of folders will appear in ANOTHER drop down menu. Let me explain. This shows all the types of files on your computer, such as, .mp3 .wav .ahk---etc. 8. At the top of all the mumbo jumbo is a * symbol as the name of the first folder. Using that folder insures that EVERY file you right click, will give you the option right away to open with the program of your choosing! 9. Once you *double* click the * folder, several folders will drop down off of that. The one we are looking for is simply named "Shell ...
