October 21, 2010 - In recent years, probability theory has played an increasingly important role in the calculation. Professor Saham provides examples of how probability is based on a variety of applications on the Internet, including web search and e-mail spam filter. This course is offered as part of the class at Stanford in 2010 without serious Homecoming Reunion quiz. Mehran Saham, PhD, is professor of computer science and an associate professor in the Department of Education. Firstjoining the faculty at Stanford, he was Senior Research Scientist at Google.
